We love Chinese food, especially the Indian version. We love to go out on weekends and see those street vendors their style of preparing Chinese. The moment we think about Noodles, Rice, Soups and our mouth starts watering. But irrespective of its taste and how much we love eating, let’s know more what is inside this fast food which makes it flavourful: MSG (Monosodium glutamate) is widely used food additive that enhances taste and flavour; it is a widely used flavour enhancer. But we must not neglect the fact that any fast food can be unhealthy in some or the other way. For example: Fried rice and noodles we all know the amount of oil that goes in cooking can increase our blood cholesterol level, the excessive oil can make our stomach more acidic, also these types of food have lots of salt which leads to hypertension. Therefore, if anyone who is experiencing problems such as chest pain, headache or flushing after consuming Chinese food must try to eliminate it from their diet. On daily basis it can be more harmful therefore, to build a healthy meal or diet we can do the following:
Once in a while we can eat fast food for a taste change, but for everyday meal we should try and experiment with food at home;
We can prepare a full plate of salad with some fruits and veggies such as tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, decorating with some green leaves like coriander;
Avoiding extra fats such as heavy gravies or sauces in vegetables while cooking;
Taking control of our food and maintaining a diary will be of great help as it will keep a track on the intake of calories, carbohydrates and fats. In this way we are focusing to remain healthy and satisfy our sweet tooth at the same time.
